My client a leading, multi award-winning luxury Travel Company who have built their reputation on delivering exceptional tailor-made holidays and travel experiences to some of the world's most desirable destinations, are seeking a Sales Director for an initial 9-12-month contract. Do you have experience of leading and developing high performing sales and customer service teams? Based in Chester you will be responsible for directing the sales strategy for this established Travel Group's brands to continue their success story. *Be responsible for leading, developing and driving the sales and service strategy to deliver and maximise revenue and commercial returns for the Travel Group.
*Accountable for developing and delivering a contact strategy that provides flawless customer experience whilst driving a culture of continuous improvement through regular analysis of key metrics, booking patterns, conversion, market influences, sales leads.
*Own and drive a strong people agenda, overseeing the development of a high-performance team and effective succession planning.
*-Responsibility for the sales budget and the target and bonus structure
*-Conducting Sales analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and changes in strategy
*-Brand review and market research to identify trends, working with other departments to capitalise on insights
*Manage key relationships with industry partners and clients, over-seeing commercial agreements
*Oversee the trade calendar regarding events and incentives
*Leading the engagement of sales managers and their teams for implementation of new strategy, services and products
*Driving best practice of new and existing technology, processes and standards
*Over-seeing a highly personalised Concierge service
*Responsible for driving best practices across operations and customer service
*Developing the annual coaching strategy in align with company objectives for client experience
*Recruiting and retaining the best sales talent, supporting mangers to recruiting and contributing to achieving a successful working environment with high levels of engagement and personal development

We are seeking a results orientated sales director with excellent people leadership who is able to develop a high-performance sales and customer service culture. You will have an analytical approach to decision making and strong commercial acumen. Travel industry experience is a must, ideally from a tour operations background!
