Learning and Development Executive

Training and Development Executive required for a leading International escorted holidays company.

Leger Holidays are a leading provider of escorted holidays across Europe and worldwide by luxury coach, air, rail and cruise.
So do you have a background in travel? Experience in training and mentoring? Have excellent customer service skills and able to travel domestically and internationally? Then we want to hear from you! Leger Holidays are now seeking an 'on the road' Coach Crew Mentor who will be training the Coach Crews on all aspects of customer experience/customer service within Europe.

We are keen for people to apply that perhaps have worked as a Travel Trainer, 'Learning and Development' Executive or Manager, Tours Manager or perhaps you have worked as a Travel Manager who has done lots of training, mentoring and development of staff providing training plans and direction for growth of individuals and teams?
As a Training and Development Executive you will:

• Identify training and development requirements within our coach crews.
• Develop and maintain a consistent level of excellent customer service and overall customer experience across all tours.
• Meet routinely with the customer experience team to provide feedback and recommendations for training requirements within our tour crews.
• Assist in the implementation and delivery of a driver training plan.
• Provide ongoing assessments of training plan effectiveness and revising if needed
• Provide accurate training records, documented and maintained for all employees and review to reflect business change and developments
• Provide open and candid 1-1's with Tour crews to develop and grow them further
• Provide Training and development to crews which will coach, support and motivate them to deliver the best results

As a Training and Development Executive you will have:

• Experience in training, development and mentoring people from the Travel and Tourism industry.
• Experience working within a customer facing role
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Flexible work ethic
• Ability to work in a sometimes challenging environment and able to think on your feet

• Energy, stamina and the enthusiasm to cope with different individual's needs and demands over long, often irregular, working hours.
• Health and safety awareness
• Good health and physical fitness in order to cope with the demands of the job and long working hours.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• A foreign language or first Aid would also be a handy skill in this role too, although those without will be considered

You could earn up to £35k in this Coach Crew Mentor role, delivering training and development to Leger Holiday's coach crews and access to travel benefits, including staff concessions. Your hours of work will include evenings and weekends and the role involves being away on our tours for extended periods of time that could sometimes be up to 3 weeks. You'll move from country to country so your 'base' is international! We do want you to come into our Rotherham offices for at least 1 day in-between tours.
This is a unique vacancy where you will be travelling with the coach crews vibrant and dynamic team to support, develop and train them further.
