At Travel and Transport Statesman, we’re passionate about business travel. Our success is built on expert personal service. The role of Global Account Manager both assures global clients of the fullest service and advocates on their behalf.

Come and be part of one of the UK’s biggest success stories in the world of business travel, event management and associated services. Thanks to hiring close-knit teams of experienced, knowledgeable, dedicated people like you, Travel and Transport Statesman are poised for further, exciting growth. If you want to think even bigger, we’re also part of Travel and Transport Inc., one of the world’s largest corporate travel agents, which was voted as one of the Best Midsize Employers 2018 by Forbes. There’s no limit to how far you could go.

This is a key opportunity for an accomplished Global Account Manager to manage the entire relationship with global clients in line with targets. Responsible for providing clients with consultancy on all aspects of their business travel and total travel expenditure, you’ll also be proactive in communicating their needs and facilitating achievement of their goals within the region, working with internal departments and member agencies to provide innovative ideas and services.

The scope of the role includes identifying cost and efficiency improvements in all aspects of client relationships, through analysis of management information, regular dialogue with all parties. You’ll plan and attend client implementation and review meetings, identify opportunities for commercial incentives and co-ordinate meetings with suppliers. You’ll also ensure each related Account Manager receives appropriate training and guidance, and work closely with Operations on achieving optimum service delivery.

Highly motivated and flexible, your record of success in the global business travel sector includes multinational account management. You have a proven ability to build strong commercial relationships with clients, shareholders and suppliers - including negotiating and monitoring supplier deals on behalf of clients. You’re also a skilled project manager, with a good grasp of Self-Booking Tools, MI Reporting and Quality control systems, plus MS Office. Like everyone else here, you’re not just enthusiastic and committed, you’re creative too. You want to do things differently: better.

In return, you can expect to work sensible (or even, potentially, flexible) hours, Monday-Friday, in a convenient Central London location. Benefits include generous holiday allowance and fantastic industry discounts, enhanced contributory pension plan, reduced corporate gym membership and health cover.

You’re also assured of full training and development opportunities, together with excellent career progression prospects. Travel and Transport Statesman is growing fast but at heart we’re all about lasting relationships and personal reputations. Put in a good performance and it will be recognised – and rewarded.
