Travel Reservations Consultant, Bucks, Salary to £22k plus bonus

This award winning long haul tour company requires a travel reservations consultant to manage sales calls from both direct customer and agents. They are seeking candidates with a a great phone manner, enthusiasm for the product and travel industry experience. They are offering a salary up to £22k plus bonus

Travel Reservations Consultant Responsibilities:

Primarily responsible for creating customer booking requests
Booking packages to worldwide destinations
Delivering excellent levels of customer service
Using a CRS and on-line flight bookings systems to arrange flights and overground travel
Using travel industry experience and product knowledge to assist in advising customers on their best options
Happy to assist customers by phone, e-mail or face to face
Dealing with difficult questions and problem solving to maintain the sale
Assisting at consumer and trade events

Travel Reservations Consultant Requirements:

Exceptional customer service skills and experience in telephone sales
A positive and enthusiastic approach
Excellent written and oral communication skills
High level of attention to detail
Team Player
Ability to work both independently and under pressure
Fantastic organisational skills

Travel Reservations Consultant Additional Information:

Salary £22,000
Sales Target bonus
20 days holiday pro rata
37.5 hours per week Monday to Saturday, Sundays when the business requires.
