Job Details
Due to remarkable growth in our client’s team, we are now seeking an experienced GDS Travel Support Specialist. This successful travel company offer an array of destinations to travellers including Europe, Middle East, USA, Caribbean, USA, South America, Africa, Asia, Indian Sub-Continent, Indian Ocean, Australia, plus many more. This successful and well established global travel company have an excellent reputation in the industry and genuine carrier growth.
This exciting travel opportunity is ideal for an experienced travel professional with travel support experience who is conversant with GDS, seeking career progression and something a little different.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide GDS and Concur Support to agents and internal departments that require assistance in resolving issues
- Miscellaneous Ticketing and Processing Requests
- Review Bookings for Fraud
- Evaluate and escalate issues for training opportunities
- Collaborate with training team, Operations Supervisors and Managers to highlight reoccurring issues, errors, and gaps in the GDS
- Evaluate and escalate issues to other IT and Operational teams
- Continuously review and enhance communication procedures and channels to ensure delivery of relevant information to agents and support teams.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience on Sabre GDS system (any other GDS systems are a plus)
- Concur Complete experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of the travel industry
