Marketing and Communications Assistant

Our client, an exciting and expanding specialist in Travel, is the UK’s largest group of independent travel agents, who now have an excellent opportunity and are recruiting a Marketing Coordinator to manage a wide range of marketing email campaigns, processes and projects, increasing brand awareness and ensuring effective communication

As a Marketing and Communications Assistant you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities

To manage all day to day marketing communications

Implement and manage marketing campaigns

To develop and coordinate a calendar of marketing activity

Manage the production and implementation of all marketing collateral including point of sale, flyers and peak season campaigns

Manage and maintain effective relationships with internal and external suppliers

Sending email campaigns

Development of the marketing portfolio

Tracking campaigns, preparing performance analysis reports of post campaign and making recommendations to concurrent programs for corrective modifications

Marketing and Communications Assistant Skill attributes:

Marketing experience – with email campaigns

Have a travel industry background ideally

Excellent written, copy writing and proof reading skills, verbal and presentation skills

Have an understanding of marketing principles

Work collaboratively and efficaciously as a team member

Experience and passion for developing creative and effective marketing campaigns
