Senior Business Travel Consultant

Senior Business Travel Consultant - Required for this award winning Travel Management Company based in West Midlands. They are looking for an experienced business travel consultant with strong and most up to date GDS knowledge (Ideally Galileo) to join their close-knit team. Monday to Friday working hours, excellent basic salary as well as other company benefits and an excellent opportunity to work for this fantastic company.

Senior Business Travel Agent duties

• Working with Small and Medium business booking UK, European and Worldwide business travel using Galileo or Amadeus;
• Working to each clients travel policy finding them the most cost effective travel option available;
• Dealing with daily ticketing, amendments, issues, re-issues;
• Provide world class service to all company clients and ensure repeat business;

Senior Corporate Travel Consultant skills required

• Knowledge of GDS Galileo preferred but able to cross train from Amadeus for the right candidate
• Experience of booking all aspects of corporate travel - Flights, Hotels, Car Hire & Rail.
• Exceptional customer service, to include proactive travel advice and demonstrable cost savings to our clients.
• A strong, methodical and accurate work ethic to service all bookings from initial enquiry through to invoicing and ticketing.
• Confidence in all aspects of fares & ticketing, including net/corporate fares.
• The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a small team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to being successful.
