Trading Manager - Travel Industry - Surrey ££competitive
This highly successful and rapidly expanding travel company is looking for a Trading Manager to join their Commerical team to support the company's trading initiative within the Commercial team to maximize earning opportunities in line with the overall commercial strategy. Reporting to the Head of Commercial and working closely with the Commercial Managers, Commercial Analyst, Membership and Business Partners the key objective is to develop a robust trading plan to ensure a competitive edge for all their Members.
Trading Manager - Key responsibilities;
Provide support in order to develop and maximize the commercial opportunity with key partners, improving commercial terms and collaboratively executing commercial and marketing plans.Work closely with the Head of Commercial and Commercial Analyst to identify opportunities on enhancing earning opportunities with key partners.Pro-actively contact key partners for latest sales and marketing messages, source exclusive agent incentives to further sales and collate information in a presentable trading document made available to internal teams including Commercial, Membership, Marketing and the Senior Leadership team.Pro-actively contact members via phone and email to update and advise of key partners' latest sales and marketing campaigns and incentives sharing the trading document so offering additional earning opportunities to members.Put together offers and packages from different suppliers to provide a differentiated product.Provide regular updates to selected members on their individual performances.Source monthly cash and non-cash staff incentives from all business partners ensuring our members have the best additional earning opportunities possible; collate and put the information in a presentable format. Work closely with the Financial Control team to ensure timely reconciliation of incentive payments.Manage a small number of own business partner accounts ensuring timely contract renewals, regular updates on key sales and marketing messages.Ensure engagement with members in the form of training events and Conference attendance.Consistently delivery in a way that enhances the company reputation and standing within their market place and the independent travel industry.Stay fully informed on industry and partner developments to ensure that the commercial, product and revenue teams are fully informed on product range and price.Communicate all industry and market developments to the Directors and the Commercial team.Support the Commercial team in delivery strategic objectives.

Additional requirements
Travel both within the UK and overseas with flexibility to stay away from home will be required on occasion.Flexibility to attend industry and trade events on a regular basis.
