At Travel and Transport Statesman, we’re passionate about bringing expert personal service to business travel management.  In this key Business Travel Supervisor role you can build on all your supervisory skills and business travel experience as you manage a client-focused operations team.

Come and be part of one of the UK’s biggest success stories in the world of business travel, event management and associated services. Thanks to an amazing client base – and a friendly, supportive culture that gives everyone room to excel – we’re aiming for dramatic growth over the next 3-5 years. Join us now and there’s no limit to how far you could go.

The role of Business Travel Supervisor focuses on the day-to-day management of a team servicing a dedicated client base, to ensure it provides the highest level of customer service and meets all operational deadlines and client SLAs. This will involve everything from ensuring the effective use of computerised reservation and back office systems (Galileo/Sabre) to managing change, inviting input from staff members and feeding back on performance at regular team meetings.

Responsible for advising on and arranging all aspects of travel and related services, you will ensure that the team complies with all client requests, that all bookings meet quality standards, that everything is included in the booking file, client communication and other documentation, and that quotations are continually audited to ensure competitive pricing. You’ll also verify all documents and confirmations from suppliers are correct and presented clearly to the client, as well as accounting accurately for all documents issued or refunded.

As well as proven GDS knowledge, specifically Galileo/Sabre, you should have a significant operational background, with excellent business travel knowledge and several years’ experience of supervising a team - including managing staff performance, undertaking appraisals and setting objectives. You’ll also need the client-facing skills and commercial awareness to support sales and account management. Like everyone else here, you’re not just enthusiastic and committed, you’re creative too. You want to do things differently: better.

In return, you can expect to work sensible (or even, potentially, flexible) hours, Monday-Friday, in a convenient Central London location. Benefits include generous holiday allowance and fantastic industry discounts, enhanced contributory pension plan, reduced corporate gym membership.

You’re also assured of full training and development opportunities, together with excellent career progression prospects. Travel and Transport Statesman is growing fast but at heart we’re all about lasting relationships and personal reputations. Put in a good performance and it will be recognised – and rewarded.
