Hotel & Groups Travel Consultant

My client is delighted to be recruiting for a full time Hotel & Groups Travel Consultant to join their successful team in West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a fast-moving/award winning travel management company with exciting plans for the future.

Job Description:
* Source, quote and book all aspects of group travel to include hotel, and any other travel related requests received.
* Negotiate with travel suppliers to obtain the best possible costs for group travel and accommodation
* Manage and prioritise telephone and email workloads in line with client SLA's.
* Ensure travel policies are managed effectively and booked in line with traveller profile preferences.
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.
* Ensure that all administration, both internal and external is of the highest standard.
* To be fully conversant in all operational working practices.

Experience Required:
* Ideally candidates will have a minimum of two years' experience.
* Proven attention to detail and quality standards.
* Strong communication skills demonstrating a pro-active response to client servicing at all times
* Highly organised, ability to plan, prioritise and multi-task under pressure
* Fully confident in all aspects of working with a GDS system (Galileo or Amadeus)
* Excellent understanding of hotel contracts
