Would you like to break into the commercial side of the Travel sector? Perhaps you're a Graduate looking for your first step into the industry? Either way, we have a brand new and exciting opportunity to join a leading, Birmingham based Travel organisation as a Product Assistant.
Working within the Product team, the role will see the successful candidates undertaking a range of tasks, including creating email and direct mail documents, communicating marketing material and uploading content including fare code information and campaign changes to the website. Role of Product Assistant:
- Creating email and direct mail docs using briefs from Commercial & Trading Executives
- Repricing marketing material including emails and direct mail
- Communicating marketing material to other departments including sales
- Daily website checks
- Uploading content including fare code information and campaign changes to the website
- Making amendments to marketing material sent back from the design team
- Create workings out spreadsheet to be used by sales
- Dealing with consultant questions from workplace
- Updating market share, trading, activity points and weekly figures
- Ensure packages are loaded correctly
- Attending cruise line trading calls and events when requested
Skills required for the role:
- Commercially aware with a keen eye for detail
- Ideally, some exposure to the travel sector or a recent Graduate
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Flexible and supportive approach to colleagues
- Keen to build a long term career with the commercial side of the Travel sector
