Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Handling travel requests from a variety of business travel clients
- Research various itineraries to ensure clients are receiving the most efficient and cost-effective travel
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Build strong relationships and a good rapport with clients
Key Tasks:
- Offer advice on all aspects of the client’s travel
- Liaise with clients to determine their needs and requirements to ensure the most appropriate transportation, destination, dates and accommodation are booked
- Deal with cancellations, and amendments
- Respond to all emails and calls within an appropriate time scale
- Check and arrange visa requirements
- Amend existing bookings and recalculate air fares accordingly
- Ticket bookings
- Book rail journeys, both domestically and internationally
- Arrange cars and transfers
Experience:
- Ability to manage a variety of corporate accounts within a fast-paced environment
- Able to identify and create extra revenue opportunities with service add ons relevant to the client’s requirements
- A strong and accurate work ethic to service all bookings from initial contact through to the end
- Exceptional customer service
- Able to confidently ticket both net and corporate fares
- Confident in calculating and managing transport refunds
- Ability to manage your own workload
- Experience in using a GDS
- Proven ability to create all aspects of international travel arrangements
- A good product knowledge of airlines and hotels
- Knowledge of net and published fares
- Professional
- Qualified to IATA level 2 and in Virgin Fares and Ticketing
- Good geographical knowledge
- Attention to detail
- Problem solver
- Excellent telephone skills
