Groups Reservations & Operations Executive

A fantastic new role has come available to work for a specialist travel company based in Essex as a Tailor Made Groups Consultant. This is a great opportunity for a Groups Consultant looking to further their career within the travel industry. THE SUCCESFUL CANDIDATE MUST BE A CAR OWNER.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

*Managing all aspects of organising tours, including; assembling new quotes and itineraries, preparing and despatching letters of confirmation, issuing ATOL certificates, invoices and receipts, organising payments to suppliers.
*Liaising with Airlines, Hotels, DMC's, Cruise & Ferry companies aswell as arranging attractions, excursions, ground transportation
*Involved in product development.
*Entering all information on to our in-house Reservations system & website keeping all tours fully updated throughout the pre-tour process.
*Solving any booking, customer service or contractual issues with suppliers and clients.
*Basic social media and marketing support.
*Attend trade shows, workshops, events and award evenings, including support and assistance when the Company exhibits itself to promote company tours and services throughout the year, where required, (including evenings and weekends).
*Attend supplier fam trips / educational trips throughout the year where required (including evenings and weekends).

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

*Previous experience tailor making tour packages
*Organised, highly energetic and capable of managing a very busy and diverse set of responsibilities.
*Proven administration skills
*Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise appropriately with suppliers, clients and officials, face to face, by telephone and in writing.
*Must have excellent attention to detail
*Must be a car owner

WORKING HOURS:

Mon - Fri: 9 - 5:30pm (You may be required out of hours and occasionally at weekends)

PACKAGE:

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive starting salary of £21,000 - 23,000 depending on experience.
