Job Details

Tailor-made and Product.  Our client is currently seeking a passionate, client-oriented Sales and Product specialist to handle all new enquiries from initial contact to holiday completion and to launch a range of long haul villas to complement our clients existing Caribbean programme. The Sales and Product specialist will be required to achieve agreed sales targets, manage all post booking queries and concierge services for all bookings whilst delivering exceptional level of customer service to clients, both existing and potential, truly differentiating our client’s brand as a step above the ordinary.


Additionally, the Specialist will be required to use their product experience and knowledge to maintain and build on the relationships with our client’s suppliers and launch and own, in conjunction with the Product Team, a range of long haul products.
 
Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Keep the specialist team aware of product developments within the brands so that they can effectively pass over clients to you
  • Work closely with the Product and Marketing Team to develop and promote the Long Haul brands and website, checking content regularly to ensure that it is accurate
  • Answer incoming Long Haul telephone calls; in addition to handling all web generated, direct and other written enquiries, including those passed on from Villa Specialists from potential and existing customers relating to existing and new bookings
  • Use industry and product knowledge to turn the clients’ requirements into their ideal luxury holiday package, thinking outside the box to offer the very best suggestions
  • Handle all concierge services/requests for new and existing Long Haul bookings
  • Develop initiatives and ideas that differentiate the brands as truly above the ordinary with the Operations manager
  • Build a strong relationship with owners and house managers to request availability and negotiate selling rates
  • Launch a multiple destination long haul programme for the company, from researching of destinations and properties to visiting to contracting
  • Negotiation of contract with villa owners, agents, ground handlers and any other suppliers
  • Research flight routes to each destination to ensure information online is correct
  • Ensure all properties and their prices are loaded onto the website and the reservation system in a timely manner
  • Negotiation special offers with suppliers
  • Achieve and constantly strive to beat agreed sales targets both monthly and annually
  • Maximise revenue potential by up-selling on all bookings and identify opportunities for additional product sales and experiential products in keeping with the brands

Experience Required:

  • Previous experience of achieving personal sales targets within the luxury and or long haul market
  • Product management experience including sourcing and developing long haul product as well as contractual negotiation
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Knowledge of both long-haul & short-haul travel destinations
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • A charming, sociable  and high impact personality
  • Excellent at building and maintaining supplier relationships

Salary & Working Hours:
Our client offers a pleasant working environment close to the Tate Modern Gallery, along with an excellent remuneration package of £26,000 to £31,000 dependent on experience, plus bonus & benefits, working hours are Monday – Friday with rotational Saturdays.
