Job Title Travel Training & Marketing Manager (Full Time) 

Location
Home-based, ideally located South Midlands/North London within a commute of Milton Keynes. 

Reports To Operations Manager

Job Overview To support and develop our network of existing and new franchisees all of whom are operating their own travel business. The role will involve training, mentoring and supporting the network on an ongoing basis. 

This will be a home-based role operating on a self-employed basis. Although location can be flexible there would be the requirement to operate within the Milton Keynes/Midlands areas.

Some travelling required.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver Induction training courses to new franchisees.
    Improve and review current training practices.
    Support and motivate Franchisees as required.
    Mentor new and existing Franchisees and monitor/measure progress.
    Attend monthly company events. (One Saturday per month)
    Manage the Franchise Operating manual.
    Communicate with suppliers to deliver training modules and webinars.
    Act as a go-between for Franchisees and all company departments.
    Social Media support.
    Business development.

Person Specifics You will have travel trade experience and ideally, have a training/support background in the same sector.

You will be a confident speaker in front of individuals and also groups of up to 30 people and have effective communication skills at all levels. (Both verbal and written)

You will also have the ability to respond to requests in a timely and professional manner and act as an ambassador for the Explorer brand both internally and externally.

As this role is home-based, you will need to be disciplined and have the ability to manage workload without direction.

You will be flexible with your approach and working schedule and have the ability to adapt to the demands of the travel business as it changes.

Travel around the country will be a requirement on occasion.

The successful candidate will have a remuneration package of £30,000 plus expenses.
