Job Details
Our client is looking for an experienced ticketing consultant with a good knowledge of at least one GDS. They are a very exciting company within the travel industry and this role is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within travel and gain invaluable knowledge and experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Issuing and reissuing airline tickets
- Dealing with telephone enquiries in a helpful and timely manner
- Meet ticket deadlines
- Collate daily BSP and accounting documents
- General admin tasks
- Be open to offer assistance to fellow colleagues
- Attend training sessions and meetings as and when required
- Maintain a good quality of working relationships with all departments
Skills/Experience
- A high quality of knowledge and experience in using a GDS (Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus or Worldspan)
- Knowledge of airline contracts, GDS ticket rules and CAT35
- Ability to work well within a team
- Attention to detail
- Be numerically capable
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work to deadlines
- Enthusiastic
- Able to prioritise
- Pleasant and professional
- Being able to decipher airline contracts and being able to transfer details to tickets issued
