Job Details
Our client is a well know luxury brand in the travel industry and are currently seeking someone from a travel product/commercial background to join their expanding and thriving brand.
If you are looking for your next step in the industry, have the knowledge and passion for travel and want to make your mark as part of this leading industry team, then you could be just the person are client is looking for.
You will work closely with the company’s partners and help source, communicate and merchandise new offers and products to assist in the growing of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
· Liaise with suppliers to create new and innovative offers
· Continuously work to improve your knowledge of the industry and keep up with current trends with properties, destinations and tailor-made packages
· Ensure the website is up to date
· Have a thorough understanding of the company’s products, packages and suppliers and continuously try to improve the values and margins
· Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure everyone is on the same page with products, offers, availability etc
· Review competitor activity
Skills:
· Prior experience in a product or commercial role within the travel industry
· Innovative
· Ambitious
· Keen to develop and improve
· Passion to provide an excellent customer experience
· High levels of attention to detail
· Strong communication skills
· Web search knowledge an advantage
