FIT Executive

Are you fluent in either German, Spanish or French and have experience working alongside European clients to arrange travel into the UK? If so, we have such an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's Largest Inbound Travel Tour Operators based in Edinburgh.

Due to further expansion this well-established company are looking for a Fluent German, French or Spanish Speaking FIT Executive to join their exciting team. I am looking for someone with a good knowledge of the UK-Wide Tourism Industry and experience working in a Destination Management Company to efficiently quote FIT enquiries and make reservations for hotels and other ancillary services to clients from European Destinations via their in-house booking system.

It's such an exciting and rewarding role if you enjoy building and maintaining strong relationships with your clients and designing the perfect itineraries to suit their needs and requirements with 'off the beaten track' attractions, 'one of a kind' accommodations etc.

Your main duties:

• To undertake FIT client reservations in an efficient and customer focussed manner
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients under your care
• Work with you Business Development Manager to support in quoting programmes and rates to existing and new clients
• Make hotel and other service reservations maintaining strong supplier relationships
• Ensure the profit margin targets on bookings under your care are achieved as laid out in company pricing guidelines

Experience required:

• Fluent in both English and German (preferably) or French or Spanish
• Good knowledge of UK-Wide Inbound Tourism Industry products is essential
• Experience in a Destination Management Company is also essential
• Some experience of handling VIP and/or Luxury FIT Accounts is desirable
