Have you experience in Account Management and Business development? A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's leading Destination management companies which specialises in Incentives, Leisure Groups and Individual travel. As a German speaking - Business Development Executive you will be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with existing and potential new clients in the German Speaking Groups Market.

Job Description:
*Develop and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential new clients in the German Speaking Groups Market.
*Active hands on role in the Business Development function for the German Speaking Groups Department.
*Preparation and costing of proposed client group and series programmes and dealing with the client to ensure their subsequent conversion to confirmed business.
*Full utilization of the Tourplan system to generate all quotations and subsequent follow up, also ensuring that the confirmed proposal is accurately reflected in Tourplan.
*Any agreed sales and marketing activities, either in Ireland/UK or in the overseas market place. This could take the form of either desk based activities or direct agent/client interaction.
*The position may also extend to cover support in any of the other company departments as the need arises.
*Assistance with the supervision of any trainees assigned to the area
*Any other duties as assigned from time to time by your Manager or Director
*You will report to the Business Development Manager, German Speaking Groups Department.

Experience required:
*Fluency in German is essential (oral & written)
*In depth knowledge of the luxury UK Tourism product a distinct advantage
*Proven track record in the development of clients proposals and operating those programs to the highest level within a fast paced and competitive environment
*Ability to meet agreed time lines / deadlines
*Excellent customer care and communication skills
*Good team player with excellent communication skills who demonstrates pro-activeness and initiative
*Willingness to travel - mainly within Ireland & UK but also possibly to overseas locations
*Fluency in verbal and written English


Salary:
*The successful candidate will receive a competitive basic salary of £28,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
