Job Details
TMS Talent are working with a leading Travel Management company, who are seeking Senior Business Travel Consultants trained in Sabre GDS. The office is located in Central London. The company client base is mixed.
Business Travel Consultant- Duties:
- Working on key accounts, booking business travel using Sabre GDS
- Booking all aspects of business travel across the UK, Europe and other destinations, including rail travel, flights, car hire and hotel bookings
- Adhering to the travel booking policy requirements for each client to find them the most cost- effective travel solutions
- Understanding Visa requirements and offering advice where necessary
- Booking travel for varying quantities- from individuals to large groups
- Maximising revenue opportunities for the TMC
Skills:
- Knowledge of Sabre (essential)
- Fares and Ticketing- Level 1 or 2 (desirable)
- Geographical awareness/knowledge of key travel routes/airlines
- Sound communication and computer literacy skills are a must
- Efficiency and ability to multi-task/prioritise tasks
- Strong customer service abilities
