We have a brand new opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Business Travel Consultant to bring innovation and excellent customer service to an in-house travel desk. Our client, one of the UK’s fastest growing travel companies, are partnering with one of the UK’s largest online retailers to provide them with a professional in-house corporate travel service based at their Head Office in Liverpool.
This is a fantastic and really exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Travel Consultant to operate a travel desk within the client’s premises, working directly with a friendly team of passionate and capable people.
The successful candidate will be responsible for organising and arranging all aspects of travel for the company’s employees, whilst complying with company-specific travel policies and procedures and will support the client with a range of administrative duties. Role of In-house Business Travel Consultant
- Arranging all aspects of travel for the company’s employees – air, hotel, rail
- Complying with company-specific travel policies and procedures
- Supporting the client with a range of administrative duties
- Offering a high level of service at all times
Skills required for the role:
- A minimum of 2-3 years business travel experience
- Fully conversant with Galileo and Evolvi, including sound Fares and Ticketing knowledge
- Familiar with all standard business travel processes and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient use of online booking tools
- Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
