Specialist Journeys, a group of multi award-winning special interest holiday companies, is expanding its UK-based New Product Development team to drive growth in 2020 and beyond. With holiday themes ranging from archaeology and history to culture, wine, food and bridge, these roles will appeal strongly to those with an academic background in the humanities and a keen interest in the subject matter, along with relevant tour operator experience.

PRODUCT MANAGER (£competitive)

Responsibility for the creation and commercial performance of an entire Specialist Journeys product range to deliver ambitious growth targets and market-leading holiday experiences.

• Research and develop innovative new product, sufficient to achieve commercial targets
• Negotiate and contract and negotiate all product content
• Competitor analysis and market research
• Co-ordinate activities with other departments to ensure maximum exposure and sales
• Overseas travel to recce trips, meet suppliers, attend trade shows
• Lead a small team, inspiring excellence in process, output and personal development

Requires product management experience, strong leadership skills, exceptional organisation and time management, commercial acumen and a track record of exceeding targets. Based in Whaddon, near Salisbury.
