Trade Sales Executive - Fixed Term Contract

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager – Trade, the Trade Sales Executive will support our travel industry partners in a field based role, covering our Scotland catchment area. You will promote Jet2holidays by building trade relationships, managing individual accounts and arranging and attending key events throughout the year.
 
Within this role, you will be responsible for developing sales, account management and building trade relations. Your role will promote both Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, ensuring that our brands are always at the forefront of our Trade Partners minds when selling to customers. You will proactively identify and continue to develop new market opportunities within the travel trade, following up on new leads and referrals and aiming to grow bookings as a result, in line with Company targets. Part of your role will also be to promote and install marketing material where possible and to keep abreast of competitor and industry activity at all times. You will encourage and implement staff training and presentations for travel agents as required to ensure that they have all of the information required in order to promote and sell our product in the best possible way.
 
The successful candidate will have sales experience in the Travel Industry, ideally gained with a Tour Operator or Travel Agent. You will be a passionate individual bursting with enthusiasm. Each day will be different bringing with it numerous challenges but your outlook will stay positive and bright. The individual needs to show belief in the product and stand out from the crowd. Ask yourself, what makes a great sales person? Can you deliver this? As this is a field based position, with a company vehicle, you will need to own a full UK driving license. Please note that this role will involve extensive travel in the UK and overseas, as well as regular evening and weekend work. This is a maternity cover position offered on a fixed term contract for 12 months.
