Responsible to: Executive Chef
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (will include evening and weekend working)
Rotating Shifts between the hours of 6.30am – 7.00pm
Salary: c£25,000 to £30,000 p.a. dependent on experience and qualifications
St Peter’s School, York, is a dynamic, forward-looking HMC independent school for day and boarding pupils based a few minutes’ walk from the historic centre of York.
This post will be a senior member of the kitchen team working closely with and reporting to the Executive Chef. The successful candidate will have full responsibility for all aspects of the St Peter’s (13-18) kitchen including promoting exceptional standards of customer service and ensuring that all services operate in an effective and efficient manner at all times.
Candidates must be qualified chefs with extensive experience of supervising or managing a large, high volume kitchen.
