Head of Sales, South West England, Salary ££
Responsible for developing and delivering strategic sales plans for direct and partner channels, driving and realising total passenger and holiday sales and margin targets.
You will create and deliver the sales budget - cross markets, channels and customer segments. Plan long term and short term initiatives, deliver strategic partnerships and build growth opportunities (B2C/B2B) prioritising sales opportunities in each market. Responsible for achieving the commercial KPI’s including revenue, volumes, margin and booking channel targets.
Working with key stakeholders to ensure strategic and corrective sales plans are co-ordinated and opportunities maximised across Marketing, Product and Digital, providing a clear process for tactical implementation.
Managing costs and resource within budget, driving effectiveness and continuous improvement.
You will need to be able to shape and deliver a sales strategy, anticipate market trends and consumer behaviour, identifying opportunities to maximise sales. For this role you will need to have proven track record managing travel sales teams in both a B2B and B2C contact centre environment and experience across European markets. Strong leadership, able to manage a remote team, drive performance, developing talent to reach their potential whilst being able to identify and create action plans to address performance improvement needs. Knowledge of sales performance and contact centre performance metrics and driving engagement are needed.
Working across multi-location and multi-cultural teams, you will have effective communication skills with the ability to influence peers and senior stakeholders.
Bi-Lingual English/French would be a distinct advantage. Regular travel within UK & Europe will be required.
With travel industry experience, you’ll have an understanding of relevant travel and trading regulations, legal obligations and conditions of carriage.
