Commis chef, Chef de Partie & Sous chef

We are recruiting energetic, motivated chefs to join our small kitchen team at The Star in East Sussex, led by Head Chef, Tim Kensett (formerly of The River Café and The Fife Arms).

The Star opened in mid June as the third hotel in The Polizzi Collection, a charming 30 bedroom former coaching inn in the pretty village of Alfriston in the heart of the South Downs.

Experience of cooking in high level kitchens is welcomed, but not essential.

We are looking for dedicated chefs, who care about what they do and take pride in their work.  

We are offering full-time roles, with competitive salaries and a share of service charge.

There may be a possibility of live-in accommodation, but applicants will need to have their own transport.
