Here at Munken we are looking to bring a talented chef de partie into the fold.
We have the perfect ingredients to make this the best restaurant in western Norway, and will be working towards a Michelin star. The Head Chef is Alan Kaye, an Englishman with vast international experience. The kitchen is very liberal and modern: Peruvian-Nordic.
Applicants will need to be ambitious and motivated, and have experience from 3 rosettes or above, preferably Michelin.
The working hours are mostly from 14:00 onwards, Tuesday through Saturday. Chef whites provided, meals on duty. 4 weeks holiday. 40 hour weeks + overtime.

We can help with the simple paperwork for obtaining a visa.
Bergen is a beautiful city with a population of 250,000. It's known as the gateway to the fjords and can offer stunning natural experiences but five minutes from the city centre where the restaurant is situated. The food scene is buzzing after the first Michelin star was awarded a restaurant in Bergen last year.
