About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an aspiring second chef to join the Hospitality Team.
Here at Bath Spa we have several coffee shops and restaurants based over 3 different campuses. The role is to support the Head chef with the running of the University Kitchens and counter service, assisting with menu planning and achieving food cost targets. The position will be primarily based at the Newton Park campus.
We provide catering for all University staff and students and have a thriving conference and events business where we provide catering for summer schools, weddings ,conferences and fine dining for VIP dinners.
The role offers variety through the academic year.
About you (requirements)
We are looking for an enthusiastic chef with experience in high volume catering establishments. We would like someone who has a passion for food and the hospitality industry.
This is a real opportunity to demonstrate excellent culinary skills and creative flair.
Awareness of food trends & industry best practice is essential
We need a calm, confident individual who has a flexible approach to work. Excellent service delivery and customer service skills are essential.
