The School of Business, Computing and Travel are looking for an experienced, confident and flexible lecturer to join our team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about making a difference to the lives and careers of our learners. Teaching experience within the Travel and Tourism sector is desirable,  although we are keen to hear from people with a high level of industry knowledge and career experience they can impart effectively to others. Teacher training can be provided for the right candidate.

You will have a good level of experience that can be shared within the classroom environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, student centred and be a strong role model to drive success. You will be required to manage study programmes and support students whilst monitoring course specific KPI’s. The successful candidate will be confident in leading teams and driving excellence.

You will be teaching across a range of levels and capable of developing a wide range of innovative learning materials which engage and stimulate students to reach higher potential, support progression to Higher Education programmes or employment.

You will join a vibrant team working in our Barnfield Campus and should be equally comfortable teaching practical and theory sessions. Excellent links with local employers will be an advantage and any opportunity to further enhance these links is welcomed.

The successful candidate must be confident they can contribute to our high standards and expectations. You will also have an ability to promote and develop subject specific employability skills and embed English and maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching.

This will be a full time role, 37 hours a week based at our Enterprise Way Campus.

You’ll have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you’ll be actively encouraged to upskill.

We have a free on-site gym and you can access a wide range of discounts and benefits including a cycle-to-work scheme, free on-site parking, generous pension, 35 days holiday plus bank holidays, time off at Christmas and early finishes on a Friday.

The closing date for applications is Thursday 4th November 2021.
