An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-established, dynamic and forward thinking luxury travel company as a Retail Travel Manager due to success and expansion near the Tonbridge area. This travel company offers a wide range of holiday types across the globe to travellers from luxury tailormade travel to adventure packages. This role is ideal for an existing travel consultant from a tour operator or travel agency seeking career development and to work sociable working hours.

Each day will not be the same, duties include:

  • Managing and motivating a team of travel sales consultants
  • Product training
  • Offering a cutting edge customer service
  • Building relationships with customers
  • Participating in exciting and inspirational FAM trips to increase product knowledge
  • Responsible for the delivery and service for all aspects of the reservations process for clients travelling
  • Holiday planning, educational / familiarisation trips and staff travel
  • Team meetings and 1:1 meetings
  • Manage promotions
  • Enhance team’s product knowledge and ability to work effectively
  • Arrange product training as well as relevant information and training for all ancillary products.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must have experience within the travel industry either from a travel agency or tour operator either as a manager, team leader or supervisor
  • Able to build a rapport with customers.
  • Excellent communication skills
