The Business

Cycling for Softies and BSpoke are two of the UK’s premier cycling holiday brands and are a key part of The Active Travel Group. We deliver amazing cycling tours throughout Europe; including in France, Italy, Spain, Croatia, Portugal, Austria, Slovenia, and Germany. Whether guests want an easy ride between vineyards, a weekend climbing Mont Ventoux, or anything in between – we have them covered.

As we look ahead to what we expect to be our busiest summer yet in 2022 and our ambitious growth plans beyond that, we are looking for an enthusiastic Product & Operations Specialist with experience working for a relevant tour operator and a love of cycling to join the team and come on this journey with us.

The new hire will work closely with our other Brixton-based departments and will play an important role in the development and expansion of the brands. The focus will be on delivering a market-leading customer experience, building our product knowledge database, maintaining excellent relationships with our suppliers, and ensuring the successful operation of our overseas programmes.

Role and Responsibilities

Operations:

• Day to day line management of our overseas tour operations, including:
• Line management of our Destination Managers
• Tracking capacity and availability in our destinations, to guide the sales and marketing teams
• Managing our fleet of bikes – tracking capacity, condition, and purchasing requirements

• Organisation of our library of cycling routes on Ride with GPS
• Assisting with creation of operational budget and tracking delivery costs over the season
• Assisting with other core operations tasks in peak periods

Product:

• Manage relationships with our suppliers from all over Europe
• Build and manage our “Knowledge Base” on Salesforce to support other departments 
• Provide regular product training sessions to the team (once up to speed!)
• Assist with the creation of new product

Other:

• Assist other departments with product & operations queries
• Track trip feedback and NPS scores
• Provide duty phone cover (on rota)
• Any other task or duty as reasonably required by The Active Travel Group
