We have a fantastic opportunity at Jet2holidays to join our Overseas Team as Area Manager - South Greece (destinations within this area include Crete, Chania, Santorini, Mykonos & Rhodes).

Reporting to the Regional Manager - Greece, you will work as part of the Jet2holidays Overseas Management Team and be responsible for the planning, performance and service delivery of Jet2holidays across a number of our overseas destinations.

You will have a significant input into the forecasting, planning and adherence to your operational budget and resourcing, ensuring we have the flexibility and agility to respond to internal and external impacts and influences which may occur in your area. You will also manage the relationship with our third party agents in line with our agreed industry leading service levels and ensure that Company policies, procedures and values are followed at all times.

A key part of your role will be to drive and inspire your in Resort Teams to deliver our Customer Service Promise within the constraints of operational budgets. Through regular visits to hotels and airports within your region you will undertake service delivery reviews and provide on-going coaching and development of the Team.

To be successful in this role you will have proven senior managerial experience gained from working within a large workforce within the Travel Industry, preferably from Tour Operations. You will have experience in strategic planning to ensure company targets are achieved across multiple locations. With excellent team leadership and motivational skills, you'll be confident in leading teams remotely and dealing with difficult situations and taking them to a positive conclusion. You'll ideally have a basic understanding of the local language as well as being fluent in English.

This role is based overseas, located in one of your destinations and will involve extensive travel across your area.
