Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Business Travel Consultant to join a highly successful travel company working from home, day shifts and out of hours overnight. We would consider leisure travel professionals with GDS experience looking for a career in business travel.

This well known and successful travel company offers a wide range of travel types to corporate and leisure customers. Career progression, bonus and works are on offer with the opportunity to work in the comfort of your own home.

The Role

  • Book a range of travel products and offer professional advice. This includes accommodation, flights using GDS, trains, events, car hire plus more.
  • Looking after our customers travel needs from first enquiry to travel completed.
  • Handling live customer travel issues outside of standard office hours to support their travel needs.
  • Provide a professional consultancy service for all clients, anticipating their needs and offering a range of value added solutions.
  • Regularly check and action airline queue messages and monitor existing bookings that are on hold.

Essential requirements 

  • Passion and experience in business or leisure travel.
  • GDS experience is essential.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills who can deal with clients over the phone, emails and other channels such as webchats and social media.

Candidates must be from a leisure or business travel background happy to work a few nights a month.
