Reporting to the Head of Jet2holidays Overseas Operations the General Manager - Operational Innovation & Insights owns the strategy, design and implementation of all Overseas Operations processes, capabilities & Insights. You will ensure our Overseas Operation is ready to evolve, exploit data and innovate at pace to meet future customer requirements. Your work will be underpinned by robust methodology and framework to create a franchise model, enabling fast implementation of change within a large-scale operation while achieving continuous improvement.
The General Manager - Operational Innovation & Insights will also support both internal and external stakeholder relationships in providing day to day guidance and subject matter expert support on overseas operations ensuring we continue to deliver industry leading service to our customers.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in a customer focussed or operational role in a Tour Operator or Airline. You will be calm and reliable under pressure, making clear and confident decisions in challenging circumstances. You will be analytical and detail orientated, able to understand a situation and consider your response quickly. The General Manager - Operational Innovation & Insights will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team from the front. Ideally, you will have experience working overseas and an in-depth knowledge of industry regulations relating to areas such as ABTA, Package holidays and Airline Operations.
