Newmarket Holidays is one of the UK's largest independent specialist tour operators. Every year, we create and operate holidays for tens of thousands of customers travelling to destinations within the UK, across Europe and around the world. We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager to head up, manage and grow our Cruise and Events product proposition.
This is a growth opportunity for a highly-motivated individual with extensive experience in cruise, and ideally events, product management and operations, to be part of an established, mature, successful business. You’ll have full strategic, commercial and operational responsibility for Newmarket Holidays’ range of ocean and river cruise products plus the event-based tours – ranging from Wimbledon packages and air/rail inclusive concert packages plus a series of Lapland day trips by air. As we continue to bounce back from the pandemic, our focus is on making our existing tours the very best they can be and on bringing new cruise holidays and event-based tours to market.
You’ll have demonstrable experience of driving commercial performance of product in this genre, a confident communicator with the ability to deliver in a constantly-changing, fast-paced environment and with strong commercial, planning and analytical skills. You’ll be expert in building and managing relationships with cruise and events suppliers and partners and have a thorough understanding of tour operations. Team-oriented, with a hands-on approach you’ll have genuine enthusiasm to support the operational delivery of our cruise holidays and event-based tours, with a keen understanding of what our customers want and a natural thrill for travel.
We’re an award-winning holiday company with a team that loves travel. We share our travelling experiences with our colleagues and encourage everyone to go on our holidays. The team is a great mix of people. Some have been there pretty much from the start, others have joined only recently. It’s that mix that makes our team so successful – we love new ideas and change at the same time as we value experience. We want our team members to try new things and to excel, so there are opportunities to try different teams and tasks. And we have a keen interest in keeping communication open and honest. We challenge each other, and that makes us better at what we do.
Sound like the kind of opportunity and place to work that you’re looking for? Please send your CV with a brief covering note about your salary expectations and notice period to our People and Culture Manager, Nikki Bail.
