We are seeking an experienced Travel PR Manager / Outreach Specialist to join a highly successful PR agency for a range of luxury travel brands in the world’s most stunning destinations.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious strategist to really make their mark and become a trusted advisor to our clients – who are a lovely bunch of people! Homeworking roles are available. Ideal also for a Senior PR Account Manager, PR Account Manager, Senior PR Executive, PR Account Executive seeking a rewarding career.

Travel PR Manager / Outreach Specialist Duties

  • Conceive and implement creative ideas on behalf of your clients to generate media coverage.
  • Put together data driven stories (ability to use Google Trends, Semrush, freely available data sources to create new data) and outreach.
  • Proactively outreach to key media to maintain and develop senior editor contacts.
  • Plan, co-ordinate and organise press trips on behalf of your clients.
  • Monitor relevant media/social media.
  • Write on target pitches, press releases, copy and relevant blog posts as well as newsletter content on behalf of clients.
  • Produce and deliver client presentations.
  • Contribute actively to agency’s social media channels, quarterly newsletter and blog.
  • Support on new business/writing proposals.

Essential Requirements

  • Significant recent PR or Outreach experience within an agency.
  • Good understanding of off-page SEO and GA.
  • Good understanding of the differences of traditional vs digital PR outreach – when to employ which strategy for best results for the clients.
  • Solid press contacts – across travel, active, lifestyle, beauty and news desks.
  • Have a good understanding of best practise media outreach approach to secure results for clients.
  • Be able to research & write high-level & accurate copy – white papers, articles, comment, news releases, case studies, web copy, blog postings etc.
  • Experience of initiating, maximising & sustaining PR plans with rigour & detail.

Bonus points for:

  • Understanding of content strategy, technical and on-page SEO and organic social.
  • Understanding of digital and social media buying landscape and trends.
  • Ability to prepare cost estimates for PR/ Digital PR/ Content and Social media strategies.
