For the United Kingdom representation in London, we are looking for an experienced and motivated professional with an outgoing personality and autonomous working style to fill this vacant position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and foster a network of key tour operator accounts to introduce/increase Switzerland products
  • Develop and manage a community of travel advisors specialized in selling Switzerland
  • Create and implement business and marketing plans with key accounts
  • Organize events for tour operators and travel advisors in the UK & Ireland and in Switzerland
  • Develop new commercial channels in line with the strategy of Switzerland Tourism
  • Manage trade newsletter, webinars and familiarization trips to Switzerland, adapt and promote the Switzerland Academy
  • Manage ST’s presence at third-party B2B events in the UK & Ireland
  • Coordinate the market delegation at major B2B events in Switzerland
  • Account manager for Swiss key partners with a travel trade focus
  • Overview assigned budget and KPIs
  • Maintain the trade database, trade corner, report marketing and key account management activities

Requirement

  • At least three years of experience in product development or sales and marketing in the travel or hospitality industry in the UK, with a proven track record
  • Enthusiasm for Switzerland, knowledge of the Swiss travel and tourism industry as an advantage
  • Excellent command of English (spoken/written) with good knowledge of German, French or Italian (spoken/written)
  • Readiness to travel in the UK, Ireland and Switzerland
  • Well-organized, independent working style, flexible and dynamic personality
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks and adhere to all deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Right to work in the UK (pre-/settled status or British passport)
