Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Luxury Groups Travel Consultant to design and sell tailor-made luxury group travel to professionals.  A key component of the role is the requirement to undertake site inspection visits, sometimes with clients and to be on-site to coordinate operations during an event or tour.

Duties:

  • Handle sales enquiries, establishing professional and cordial relations with travel professionals.
  • Design creative, suitable, and thoughtful travel programmes mindful of budget, logistical and practical considerations.
  • Cost travel programmes accurately and competitively.
  • Undertake site inspections (sometimes in the company of clients) for confirmed programmes to check logistics, visit included sites and meet suppliers.
  • Identify, negotiate and implement reductions in costs and more favourable terms & conditions with suppliers.
  • Investigate new products/marketing opportunities to generate more sales.
  • Help resolve problems that may occur during the course of a tour.

Requirements:

  • Experience in creating, selling and on-site management of tailor-made group programmes
  • Motivated by achieving sales and managing key accounts
  • Enjoys and demonstrates a high degree of creativity and thought
  • Excellent command of the English language, spoken and written, including creative writing
  • Good level of geographical knowledge
  • Positivity and enthusiasm
  • MS Office skills
