As our Commis Chef you will work as part of our large culinary team and support within the venue.

You will deliver exceptional service to our clients and guests. Provide culinary excellence, ensuring that we are meeting expectations and consistently ‘Winning One Customer at a Time’.

You will demonstrate full commitment to our vision and values by doing the right things and celebrating successes, whilst complying with company standards and policies.

  • To maintain H&S compliance and lead a health & safety culture
  • To support the Executive Head Chef to ensure that Silver and Gold HSE standards are delivered and maintained in your area of business
  • To personally demonstrate that you take responsibility for your own health and safety and that of others
  • To ensure compliance with all Responsible Service of Alcohol processes throughout the venue and business
  • To be an ambassador of Levy Restaurants by creating and living the Levy Difference with your team.
  • To ensure that you understand all relevant areas of financial performance within your department.
  • To ensure portion control, correct preparation and storage methods, avoiding wastage and keeping down costs.
  • To ensure that positive and healthy relationships exists with the client and guests.
  • To deliver consistently against agreed standards e.g. IPOE
  • To demonstrate innovation in all areas of your operation
  • To take pride in your business and share agreed standards with your team
  • To prepare menu specifications ensuring that Levy and Food hygiene standards and procedures are followed.
  • Consistently set new trends in the food production, incorporating exciting new ways of presenting food.
  • Consistently improve on the presentation of front of house food displays.
  • Work with the front of house team to improve the standard of front of house displays.
  • Work with the front of house team to inspire them to be passionate about food.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Keen eye for attention detail.
  • Builds good working relationships with all stakeholders and delivers a service that exceeds expectations. Relationships are characterised by a high level of acceptance, co-operation and mutual respect.
