Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Responsibility of culinary operations in Executive chefs’ absence
  • Implementing the highest standards of all culinary dynamics across the campus
  • Delivering bespoke projects and assignments by executive chef to drive standards, performance, efficiency, operationally, financially and productivity
  • Maintaining a strong relationship with clients, customers and employees by demonstrating SEC and Levy's core values always
  • Leading and delivering projects throughout the Campus
  • Continuously innovating products, service and performance while demonstrating effective leadership, management and people skills
  • Analyzing each food service area with strategic planning to improve all culinary operations
  • Project management within culinary on upcoming events
  • Coaching, guiding and mentoring of junior chefs
  • Responsibility of managing chefs with strong positive and inspirational leadership
  • SMT key player supporting and working together with senior management team in delivering excellent culinary standards
  • Accountability for designated food service areas when required
  • Supporting Exec chef with daily operational delivery and working improvement on food cost, labor cost, purchase income and wastage
  • Sustainability, environmental and ethical approach demonstrated throughout the campus at all times
  • Fantastic chef skills and attention to detail
  • Leadership and management skills
  • The ability to manage a budget and keep accurate records
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • The ability to inspire others and help the team develop

Head Chef

  • £40,000 per annum, 40 hours per week
