We work closely with our clients to deliver expert procurement services saving them time and money, enabling them to focus on what really matters to their businesses.

We are looking for a commercially driven finance assistant to provide financial support to the Foodbuy sector of Compass Group. You will actively participate in all aspects of accounts procedures for a key Foodbuy contract. You also support the contract manager and the operations team to improve the financial performance of the contract.

  • Maintaining a PO tracking on site
  • Liaising closely with the central purchase ledger team
  • Preparation of detailed monthly files
  • Generation of sales invoices and credit notes
  • Reconciling information
  • Support in the resolution of supplier queries
  • Debt management with one client
  • Closing monthly accounts ensuring sales and costs are accurately and appropriately recognised
  • Continually review and improve processes to ensure an efficient approach
  • Liaise with client to resolve any queries
  • Preparation of regular business reports
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate oral and written information concisely and logically
  • Excellent inter personal skills with proven ability to influence internal and external parties
  • Advanced Excel Skills (lookups, pivot tables)
  • Able to use initiative and innovative thinker
