Trafford’s Operational Services for Education encompasses catering, cleaning and school crossing patrol services. They offer high quality front-line services to Schools and other businesses.

We currently have an exciting vacancy within our team to enable us to continue to build on our success in our catering business and also bring new experience, knowledge and ideas into the team.

About you

About the Role

As the Catering lead,

You will take responsibility for the services:

a) Productivity and Financial Performance

b) Service Standards and Quality

c) Staff and equipment resource utilisation

d) Customer satisfaction levels

e) Development of strategies and policies

f) Negotiating, promoting and securing formal contracts for service provision

You will be required to provide a strategic approach to the management and development of the service and you will keep up to date with the relevant regulations, policy and legislation relating to fod standards.

You’ll also be able to demonstrate experience in managing and developing staff, alongside leadership abilities and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also have a minimum of 5 years’ management experience within a commercial / public sector environment and hold a relevant appropriate professional qualification.

Additional Information

Example:

Flexibility will be required to deliver the service needs including occasional late evenings and weekends. The office is open from 7.30 am until 5.30 pm (operated on a Rota system).

An enhanced DBS check with children/adults barred list check will be required
