The role of Recruitment & Payroll Manager is a fabulous opportunity to work with a great team and be a part of delivering exceptional events at the ExCeL London Hospitality.
Reporting to the Head of People Operations and you will be directly responsible for the key result areas below. (Amongst other, general responsibilities)
Role Profile
This role profile is a guide to the work you will initially be required to undertake. It may be changed from time to time to incorporate changing circumstances. It does not form part of your contract of employment.
To provide an efficient payroll service ensuring the accurate and timely payment of our weekly paid staff. To provide administrative support to the Staffing & HR Team including recruitment campaigns, staff documentation and event management.
Nature and Scope
Administration of Payroll ensuring:
- Owns and completes the daily and weekly payroll process ensuring it is accurately entered onto the payroll system
- Processing wage queries and any discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
- Cross checking the payroll data before submission checking for discrepancies
- Completion of payroll daily and transfer on a weekly basis in accordance with payroll deadlines
- Process all variable holiday requests
- Deal with all pay queries on a weekly basis checking against signing in sheets and previous payrolls
- Highlight any query areas/discrepancies to People Operations Manager as soon as you become aware
- Completion of agency timesheets (when applicable) and deal with any invoice queries
- Weekly completion of all purchase orders for agencies, invoice Managers and Chefs
- Production of internal payroll reports as required
- Enter all new starters onto the system and process all leavers within a timely manner and complete all change of detail forms
- SMART maintenance as required
- To ensure the smooth planning and delivery of a first-class service to the internal customer base and all customers within the venue.
- To ensure that all individuals employed by Levy UK at the venue are recruited and trained to Levy standards to deliver a 5-star service to all our guests.
On-boarding / Recruitment
- Support all recruitment and selection activity including maintaining the recruitment inbox
- Coordination and participation of the interview and selection days
- Raise offer documentation as necessary
- Complete all necessary reference checking and employment history
- Liaise with recruiting departments to ensure all inductions are in place
- Administration of probationary period
- To ensure the smooth planning and delivery of a first-class service to the internal customer base and all customers within the venue
- To ensure that all individuals employed by Levy UK at the venue are recruited and trained to Levy standards to deliver a 5-star service to all our guests.
