Conference and Banqueting Supervisor

As a Conference and Banqueting Supervisor, you are at the heart of our operation and we are looking for individuals who share our energy and passion and will contribute to our ongoing success.

You’ll be working in a team full of fantastic people as a Conference and Banqueting Supervisor. After all, who doesn’t dream about coming into work, doing what they love and spending time with friends?

  • Lead your team by communicating and motivating individuals effectively toward the achievement of objectives via Daily Brief, New Directions training and reviews and rewards, and recognition

  • Attend all regular meetings and ensure that relevant information is cascaded as appropriate. Daily Briefs and H&S meetings. Ensure your team attends at least 2 H&S meetings a year

  • Planning of  rota’s within retail

  • Support the required process and procedure of performance management to ensure professional and objective recruitment,  trial shifts, induction, and training development using the New Directions tools, and reviews.

  • Develop Training Plans for the retail areas alongside the New Directions training cards

  • Implement and update new Standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for the retail areas

  • To support Management & colleagues to ensure the unit achieves the required results on IPOE and Silver Standard

  • Plan and monitor annual leave &  absenteeism to ensure the return to work document is completed

  • Ensure staffing levels are effectively managed across the unit providing excellent customer service to the agreed standard and financial targets.

  • Supervisory  experience in Retail, C&B, or Hospitality with a minimum of one years experience
  • Strong communication skills
