Working with the Head of People you will design & deliver HR strategies for our business, you will work closely with the business to ensure that our people strategy is delivered to support our growing business.   • Build leadership and people capability across the organisations through formal and informal encounters and initiatives

  • Attend external meetings and hearings at the Workplace Relations Commission and other third-party hearings, as appropriate. 

  • Analyze trends and metrics and lever this data to drive business decision-making, support action plans to deliver improvements within the business.

  • Support resourcing processes to ensure the business is supported, provide HR expertise across the entire process by working closely with the business and talent partner to ensure candidates are sourced within the internal talent pool or externally ensuring the right people are hired for the right roles in a timely way, sit on interview panels as and when required

  • Lead People business process excellence initiatives and participates in / facilitates cross functional process improvement teams

  • Contribute and lead as appropriate central HR projects as required

  • Provide advice to individual managers when dealing with people related matters that are aligned to our culture and values and aimed to achieve effective outcomes

  • Responsible for succession planning activities, support talent and upskilling across the business along with the delivery of local talent plans

  • Take a lead on assigned policy areas ensuring up to date information and implementation plans, ensuring HR policies and practices are compliant with Irish statute employment legislation and EEU regulatory obligations

  • Be a key player in identifying opportunities to re-engineer processes to minimise time spent on transactional activities and maximise value add focus, leveraging technology where possible

  • Responsible for embedding a high-performance culture which drives ongoing performance feedback and builds consistency through robust practices and tools.

  • Support the UK based ROI ER Specialist with high-risk case management ROI guidance i.e., provide up to date case law / legislation information based on the details of each case

  • Liaise with IBEC knowledge centre as an when required, coordinate all WRC case prep with the IBEC executive 

  • Work as a partner with HR specialist areas (Resourcing, L&D, Reward & Benefits, Payroll, HR Org Management and TUPE Teams).

  • Participate in compensation planning, including the benchmarking of roles throughout the year and administer the salary review process

  • Proven experience working as a HR / People Business Partner in a fast-paced environment

  • Degree in Business or HR related field 

  • ER experience with strong case management skills alongside dealing with trade unions

  • Experience of working with a client group based in multiple locations

  • Excellent interpersonal & Relationship building skills

  • Excellent IT skills

  • High level of self-awareness, & proactive approach to self-development

  • Proactive and commercially focused

  • Able to influence and operate at all levels, challenge where necessary

  • Ability to build engagement at all level

  • Ability to drive change with effective project and stakeholder management skills

  • Proven ability to deal with a range of generalist HR issues simultaneously, adapt at pace, often with competing deadlines

  • Good organisational and planning skills

  • Full driver’s license with access to own car (some travel is required
