What you’ll get up to…
You’ll be responsible for interacting with customers via our live chat & social media platform turning queries into holiday quotations and, ultimately, bookings. Customers will often use our live chat platform to ask questions about our hotels, offers and services. You will be responsible for ensuring all customers are responded to within 60 seconds, while offering quotation services at every opportunity. Being able to build a rapport with customers by providing professional, informative, and friendly responses to enquiries while remaining courteous and conscientious throughout is essential. Working in a fast-paced target driven environment will require strong knowledge around different destinations, hotels and booking systems. However, on-going training will be provided.
What we’re looking for…
If you boast impeccable verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent attention to detail then we want to hear from you. However, previous sales experience within the travel industry is a must. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing their own workload within a fast-paced environment, while simultaneously bossing a diverse priority-led task list. Quick, accurate typing skills would also be a bonus. Reliability and proficiency when working either as part of a team or independently are super important, as our live chat team works collaboratively to manage workloads and deliver excellence to customers. The right candidate will slot into this team by being fun, friendly, and full of character while possessing the ability to build a rapport with customers through chat functions and provide exceptional experiences which inspire people to journey with us for life.
Your responsibilities will include:
Sales: Identifying customer needs and matching them with a suitable product. Showcase the benefits of both the holiday package and booking with Blue Bay Travel. Upselling at every opportunity and striving to convert every quote. Customer Service: Providing professional, informative, and friendly responses to all customer enquiries via live chat, phone & email. Ensuring all quotes are responded to in a timely manner while remaining in-keeping with company policies and service standards, as well as adhering to industry quality, regulatory and legislative requirements. Vision and Values: Upholding Blue Bay Travel’s visions and values within every aspect of the role. Delivering exceptional experiences both internally and externally.
Hours and salary
• 40 hours per week split over five shifts, including 1 in 2 weekends and 2 evenings until 21:30.
• Salary Banding: £20k – £23k per annum, plus bonus based on achievement of sales targets and KPI’s.
