Following recent multi-million-pound investment we are ready to substantially accelerate growth and realise our ambitions of becoming one of the largest Tour Operator groups in the UK travel sector and we are now looking for a talented Cruise Executive to join our growing team in Chester or from home.

Purpose of the Role:

In this fast paced, target driven position you will handle customer enquiries and convert calls and other sources/leads into cruise bookings. You will use your excellent destination knowledge and previous experience of dynamic packaging to put together the best cruise holiday to match your customer’s needs, whilst always offering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify customer needs through effective questioning
  • Utilise multiple suppliers and systems to find the most suitable match
  • Overcome objections to close the sale
  • Ensure all steps are taken to retain the customer and confirm the booking
  • Process customer payments securely and accurately
  • Operate a variety of supplier websites/systems to confirm different sectors of the booking
  • Load details of the holiday accurately into our back-office system
  • Achieve and exceed targets
  • Ensure all information obtained, inputted, and verified is accurate at all times
  • Offer a great level of customer service in order to increase repeat business

The Person: Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • A proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets daily
  • Extensive cruise travel knowledge
  • Travel call centre experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledgeable using cruise and other supplier websites and booking systems
  • Experience in selling cruise holidays
  • Experience in packaging multiple products together
  • Experience in GDS (preferred but not essential)

  • An excellent communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills

This is a full-time office-based or homeworking role.  We operate a shift pattern open 7 days until 10pm weekdays. You will be required to work a 39-hour week with varying shift patterns; therefore, flexibility is a must.
