This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Commis Chef to join the education sector working at The Mirfield Free Grammar.

At The Mirfield Free Grammar we strive to be the best we can be in everything that we do and that includes our catering facilities. We are incredibly proud of the catering service that we offer to our students and staff.

Within the kitchen we employ a team that include fully trained chefs as well as a baker. Together the team produce a wide variety of meals, snacks and desserts made from locally sourced food and ingredients and freshly prepared every day. Within our Academy operations we have received high praise for our catering facilities and have won awards in recognition of the high standard of health food prepared for our students.

We are looking to recruit a Commis Chef who is passionate about both great food and great service. Someone who will help to support our Chefs in the running of the kitchen, helping to motivate the team and strictly uphold working practices to maintain the high standards of hygiene and safety.
