We have a fantastic opportunity for a driven & experienced Marketing Manager to lead the marketing team for a highly successful travel company based in Glasgow.

This will be a diverse, fast paced role where your team covers the full marketing mix and will have responsibility for the full process from development to execution of all campaigns and marketing activity. This highly successful travel company offers a wide range of holiday types across the globe to clients.

Essential Requirements:

  • Have at least four years previous experience in a similar role preferably in a retail, travel or FMCG environment.
  • Good project management skills with the ability to manage multiple different projects at the same time.
  • Verbal and written communication – excellent presentation skills and written communication skills (creative brief writing is essential) with the ability to effectively relay key messages to stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Have good delegation, negotiation and creative skills
  • Previously worked with external creative agencies, printers and distribution houses
  • Proven experience of managing and implementing effective marketing projects
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Survey Monkey and Google Analytics (i.e. intermediate level)

Marketing Manager Duties

  • Provide support to the Head of Marketing & eCommerce to deliver the marketing plans
  • Develop, manage and motivate your team to deliver marketing excellence on every tactic.
  • Develop, manage and implement effective marketing projects from initial brief to creative agency through to print and delivery / end result (e.g. TV. Radio etc)
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to advise of successful ROI marketing projects per product
  • Work closely with the Product team
  • Manage and negotiate with third party suppliers and agencies
  • Be aware of latest news within the industry and competitor activity

Generous salary is on offer, which is negotiable depending on experience, career progression, travel perks, pension, hybrid role and many other benefitd are on offer.

Please note only suitable candidates with similar marketing management experience will be considered for this post.
