Product Assistant (Ref: 2200018Z)

Based in our London Town Office, the job holder will be responsible for the following:

  • To support the Commercial team in its’ growth and development of key destinations in the Emirates Holidays portfolio including UAE, Indian Ocean and the Far East.
  • Responsibility for producing and providing pricing for all marketing activities across the required marketing channels, including pricing for tactical activity, brochures, online, trade and PR for both UK & IRL markets.
  • Accountable for briefing all special offers and pricing requirements to the relevant stakeholders as per the agreed process along with the correct format and documentation. Including any ad-hoc pricing requests.
  • Support with weekly competitor analysis reports, competitor insights and monthly room night reports.
  • Support the Marketing & E-Commerce teams ensuring accurate and effective pricing is displayed at all times, including ensuring weekly web audits for optimal representation and market competitiveness.
  • Support the Product team with regular product audits.
  • Provide regular airfare updates and provide recommendation for tactical fares to support anchor campaigns where necessary.
  • Assist as a support function to the Sales team, handling queries and price match requests.
  • Attend trade shows and supplier meetings where required, to build supplier relationships, and establish partnership growth strategies and market intelligence.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educated to minimum A-Level standard
  • Travel industry experience is essential, preferably with a Tour Operator or Travel Agency
  • Previous experience in a product, marketing and E-commerce environment would be preferable
  • Knowledge and experience of working with pricing hotels in the UAE, Indian Ocean and Far East advantageous
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel
  • A customer focused approach and the drive to exceed the customers’ expectations.
  • Ability to build rapport with a diverse range of customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
